Biographical information:
Established in 1991, Julie has provided a personal approach to tax
and accounting services as a sole practitioner serving the Santa
Clarita Valley and surrounding areas. From individual tax clients seen
annually to business clients requiring detailed and up to the minute
assistance in formulating critical decisions, Julie M. Sturgeon, C.P.A.
has become one of the respected firms in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Julie's principal strengths lie in applying tax and accounting techniques
to the actual day to day functions of running a business. Julie's
commitment is to provide prompt and personal customer service. She
excels in a communication style representing both professional
knowledge and a clear manner in which to convey information.
Julie began her career in the private sector as Corporate Controller
for Century City, Inc. and Moss & Co., real estate management
companies. Prior to starting her firm Julie was staff accountant at
local accounting firms specializing in audits, reviews, and tax
preparation.
Julie is a graduate of the University of Southern California majoring in
both business and accounting. When not in her office, you will find
Julie participating in local fundraising events such as co-chairing "The
Evening Under the Stars" for the Michael Hoefflin Foundation. She has
been on the board of the Network Advantage, SCV Resource Center,
Sulphur Springs PTA, La Mesa Jr. High PAC, and recently Michael
Hoefflin Foundation.
